Bipolar Boost Converter


This is a circuit that boosts the input voltage to a higher output voltage. The main switch stores magnetizing energy in the inductor during the on period, and the diode turns on during the off period, supplying the magnetizing energy of the inductor to the output.
Dual Boost Converter, also known as bipolar boost converter, is utilising a new converter topology which offers bipolar DC outputs with the key features of boosting the input voltage and balancing the output voltages.
