For reset ICs is it possible to use a resistor divider for the power supply and connect to VDD in order to detect voltages greater than the detection voltage?
It is possible to connect to the VDD pin by using a resistor divider at the power supply, but as described in the datasheet, attention must be paid to the through-current flowing to the VDD pin during reset operation. This may cause VDD to fluctuate, resulting in output oscillation. As a countermeasure, we recommend minimizing the resistance value between the power supply and VDD and connecting a capacitor between the output and ground. For the BU48xx/49xx and BU42xx/43xx series, the through-current is on the order of mA, so using a resistance divider is not recommended.Related Link:Technical Document
