ML2256X-xxx는 음성 데이터용 MASK ROM을 내장한 4채널 믹싱 Speech Synthesis LSIs입니다. 이 LSIs는 고음질을 구현하는 HQ-ADPCM 디코더, 16비트 D/A 컨버터, 로우 패스 필터, 그리고 스피커 구동용 1.0W 모노럴 스피커 앰프를 내장하고 있습니다. 음성 출력에 필요한 모든 기능이 단일 칩에 통합되어 있어, 이 LSIs 중 하나만 사용하여 시스템에 오디오 기능을 추가할 수 있습니다.
