BD9E202FP4-Z is a single synchronous buck DC/DC converter with built-in low on-resistance power MOSFETs. The Light Load Mode control provides excellent efficiency characteristics in light-load conditions, which make the product ideal for equipment, and devices that demand minimal standby power consumption. BD9E202FP4-Z is a current mode control DC/DC converter and features good transient response. It includes internal phase compensation. It achieves the high power density and offers a small footprint on the PCB by employing small package.

최근, 민생 / 산업기기에서는 어플리케이션의 기능 증가에 따라 기판의 스페이스 절약화가 요구되어 소형 DC-DC 컨버터 IC의 탑재율이 증가하고 있습니다. 또한, 대기전력의 삭감도 큰 과제로 중요시됨에 따라 DC-DC 컨버터 IC에는 저전력 시 (경부하 시)의 고효율화도 함께 요구되고 있습니다. 로옴은 이러한 시장 요구에 대응하여 기존의 SOP-J8 패키지 제품보다 더 작은 소형 패키지로 고효율화를 실현한 제품을 개발하였습니다.
개요
본제품은 출력전류 1A~3A로, 모두 소형 SOT23 패키지 사이즈 (2.8mm×2.9mm)를 채용하였습니다. 일반적인 SOP-J8 (JEDEC 규격 : SOIC8 상당) 패키지 (4.9mm×6.0mm)에 비해 부품 면적을 약 72％ 삭감할 수 있어, 전원부의 소형화에 크게 기여합니다. 또한, 와이어리스 구조 패키지이므로, 와이어의 임피던스 (배선의 저항 성분)도 삭감하여 고효율 동작을 실현하였습니다.
