ML62Q2700 그룹은 16bit CPU nX-U16/100을 탑재한 고성능 CMOS 16bit MCU로, 프로그램 메모리(Flash 메모리), 데이터 메모리(RAM), 데이터 Flash (삭제 단위:128byte, 쓰기 단위:1byte) 및 승산기/분할기, CRC 제너레이터, 클록 제너레이터, 타이머, 범용 포트, UART, 동기 직렬 포트, I2C 버스 인터페이스 장치 (Master, Slave), Voltage Level Supervisor (VLS), 고속 연속 근사 타입 12bit A/D 컨버터, 음성 재생 기능, LCD 드라이버, 안전 기능 (IEC60730/60335 Class B) 등 풍부한 주변 기능을 통합했습니다.
CPU nX-U16/100은 파이프라인 아키텍처 병렬 처리를 통해 1-instruction 1-clock 모드에서 효율적인 명령어 실행이 가능합니다.

내장 온칩 디버그 기능은 소프트웨어 디버깅 및 프로그래밍을 가능하게 합니다. 또한 ISP (In-System Programming) 기능은 생산 라인에서 Flash 프로그래밍을 지원합니다.
