  • Does the increase in the number of bits for A/D conversion cause a change of sampling time?
    • When the number of bits is increased (resolution is increased), high accuracy is required for the voltage charged in the sample/hold circuit accordingly. This causes the sample/hold circuit charging time to increase, and therefore the sampling time needs to be increased.
