BD5469GUL은 휴대전화, 휴대용 전자기기 등의 모바일 · 오디오 제품용으로 개발한 ALC 기능 내장 모노럴 D급 스피커 앰프입니다. 스피커 출력의 LC 필터가 필요없어, 외장 부품 3개로 모노럴 스피커 앰프를 구성할 수 있습니다. ALC는 Automatic Level Control의 약자로, 과대 입력 시 출력 파형의 왜곡 (클리핑)을 저감하는 레벨까지 자동으로 조정하는 기능입니다. 클리핑 노이즈 저감으로 고음질을 실현하며, 과대 출력 방지로 스피커 보호에 효과적인 기능입니다. 출력 레벨의 제한 해제 동작까지의 시간을 릴리스 타임 (또는 리커버리 타임)이라고 합니다. 본 IC는 음악 재생에 적합한 릴리스 타임 (262ms/1dB Typ.)을 채용하였습니다. D급 동작으로 고효율 · 저소비전력이므로 배터리 구동 어플리케이션에 최적입니다. 셧다운 시 소비전류가 0.01µA (Typ.)로 낮아, 셧다운에서 동작으로의 기동이 빠르고 팝 노이즈가 적으므로, 셧다운과 액티브를 반복하는 용도에도 적합합니다.
