ML63Q8000 그룹은 LAPIS Technology 고유의 HLC (Hardware Linkage Controller)를 탑재하여 소프트웨어 처리 없이 주변기기 연동 동작이 가능합니다. 소프트웨어 처리보다 빠르게 오류를 감지하고 고정밀 센싱이 가능하며, 소프트웨어 처리 없이 외부 부품을 구동할 수 있습니다.
이를 통해 ECU용 에지측 MCU의 비용 증가를 억제하면서 고정밀 제어 및 센싱을 실현하는 데 기여합니다.
고속 통신 프로토콜 CAN-FD도 지원하며, ISO26262에 따라 기능 안전 ASIL-B를 지원합니다.
