For the BA12003B/BF and BA12004B/BF transistor arrays, why is the permissible current under the onboard condition (on PCB) for the Output Voltage vs Duty Cycle characteristics lower than by itself (free air)?
If it is the same package the permissible current is larger when mounted on a PCB. However, under the conditions for the Output Current vs Duty Cycle listed in the datasheet the specifications are for the DIP package by itself (free air) for the BA12003B/BA12004B and the SOP package mounted on a PCB for the BA12003BF/BA12004BF.
